Magdalen House Nursing Home is a superb, modern 30 bed extra care facility providing 24 hour care by Registered General Nurses (RGNs) and Nursing Assistants (NAs), primarily for former residents of GCT sheltered housing properties but also for fee paying residents when there are rooms available. The Home has 29 beds for permanent residents and one purpose built suite for temporary respite care.

All rooms have en-suite facilities of a toilet and washbasin. There are four bathrooms within the Home with a range of bathing options to meet the specific needs of the residents.

The day space consists of an upstairs lounge, a garden room and a separate dining room where the residents are encouraged to mix with other residents or entertain their family, friends or visitors. There is also a patio terrace, with fountain, which overlooks the gardens and Chapel of St Margaret's.

Meals are an important part of life at Magdalen House and our catering staff excel at providing home cooked, well balanced and nutritious meals using fresh produce whenever possible. Special diets are also catered for.

Regular entertainments and activities are arranged for the residents and birthdays are celebrated in style!
