Christmas Fayre
The Gloucester Charities Trust is pleased
to announce that its Christmas Fayre this year took place at our
Kimbrose Day Centre on Saturday 28th November 2009 and raised over
£500.
Proceeds from the event will be going to “Help for Heroes”.
Staff
and Residents would agree that it was a busy but enjoyable day, with
both staff and residents across the Trust (Nursing Home, Residential
Home, and Sheltered Housing) supporting the event.
We would
also like to thank the local community that came along to support us,
and a special thanks to Lisa our Activities Co-ordinator who over the
last few weeks had been organising and collecting donations for the
Fayre.
Christmas Carol Service
On Tuesday 22nd
December Gloucester Charities Trust will be hosting its annual
Christmas Carol Service at St. Margaret’s Chapel. The service will
start at 2:15pm prompt.
Message in a Bottle Scheme
The
Trust is pleased to announce that it has just entered into the Message
in a Bottle Scheme for its Sheltered Residents. Gloucester Charities
Trust Residents are asked to contact the Warden on Duty or Head Office
if they would like a bottle.
Website
The Trust
is pleased to announce that over the next few months we will be looking
to redesign and update our current website. The site will
not lose any of its great content, but there will be a fresh new look
to it including Jobs Vacancies, sheltered flat vacancies and a Meet the
Senior Team section.
We are always open to suggestions so if you have any ideas for
inclusion, please feel free to email us at info@gloschar.org.uk
Please
note that due to the website rebuild the news pages will not be updated
until the New Year. From everybody at Gloucester Charities Trust we
would like to wish you all seasons greetings and a happy 2010
