Activities

GCT has a full time Activities Co-ordinator who together with the minibus driver arranges regular trips out for shopping, cinema and theatre trips, pub lunches and garden centre visits. Also seaside trips and to local places of interest when the weather allows.

There are also a range of coffee mornings, bingo afternoons, talks and social evens which residents can attend.

Lunch Club

There are daily lunch clubs held at different sites during the week and the minibus collects residents from all sites each day. A good two course lunch is provided for a nominal sum and the lunches are often followed by an outing or an activity.

Domiciliary Help

For those residents who require help with household chores such as cleaning or laundry GCT does have Domiciliary Care Staff who are able to assist for payment at an hourly rate.

Laundry

There is a laundry on each site with washing machines and tumble driers available for residents use. The machines are operated by tokens which can be obtained from the office or the Wardens.
